The Great Canal Ride 2019

So Neil Emery is one of our most regular fundraisers. Canal ride logo

But even he’s out-done himself this time.

In memory of his friend and our founder, Matt Kendall, Neil, a IT company director by trade, will be cycling over 500 miles in just 11 days in July, 2019.  That’s between 42 and 56 miles a day!

From 7th July, Neil will be cycling along some of the UKs finest, and not so finest, canals – from Matt’s hometown of Guildford, Surrey, through Birmingham, to Kendal, Cumbria.

Ooo,  that chafes.  But he’s determined to do it and raise the staggering total of £3,000.  That’s life-changing grants for at least six young people.

Even with Neil’s past record of fundraising for the foundation, this is going to be a challenge.

Do your bit. You could:

1. Join Neil

Neil would love you to join him, for company and to help him fundraise, so why not join Team MKF? You could do just 1 day or more – everything helps!  See below for the route.

2. Spread the word
