Since Matt formed the Foundation in April 2015, you have raised over £40,000 for the disadvantaged young people in Birmingham, and many are already benefiting. Thank you!
So who’s currently a fabulous fundraiser?
- Team MKF runs the Birmingham Half Marathon – Richard Banks, Chris Tye and Jess Williams raised ran the Great Birmingham Run (half marathon) on Sunday 16th October. Fantastic efforts!! At the time of writing this article the team had almost doubled their £500 target. Can you spare a few pennies to help young people? Team MKF’s JustGiving page is still open
- Chris Tye donating 5% of album sales – Friend of the Foundation Chris Tye has just reached the number of pre-orders he needs to finish and publish his latest album ‘Stronger in Numbers.’ 5% of all of the money raised from here on in will go to the Matt Kendall Foundation (cheers Chris!) Please consider supporting Chris and the Foundation by joining over 100 other pledgers and pre-ordering what will be Chris’ best work to date. The album will be out early next year.
- Jonny Carr’s Superbat Challenge – Jonny Carr lovingly restored the cricket bat given to him by Matt before he died through a shared loved of the glorious game, and has so far gone on to raise £145 through the cricket season. Thank you Jonny!
